    The Molson Coors General Manager for South Korea is part of the Molson Coors International division, whose main objective is to help accelerate sales gains and the brand adoption process of Molson Coors and Miller Brands among target consumers in South Korea.


    The main responsibility is to achieve P&L goals and drive sustainable top line growth.







    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare the Annual Operating Plan in South Korea, utilizing as the foundation advertising, programs and tools developed for the region
    • Share sales and marketing best practices and overall knowledge with partner and or distributor management and sales staff in countries
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of previous programs and tools
    • Help the MCI Brand Managers communicate the annual brand plan and its promotional programs and tools to the local sales team and other appropriate distributor personnel
    • Supervise the execution of all major brand retail promotions according to the approved annual brand
    • Provide support to partners in the execution of smaller, tactical of the brands programs as required
    • Issue and distribute the brand’s monthly promotional activity report to MCI senior leadership, the local sales teams and MCI Team, evaluating the effectiveness of grassroots events and off- and on-premise promotions for their effectiveness to drive sampling, growing volume and building long-term brand equity
    • Ongoing evaluation of retail display effectiveness, shelf/floor location, SKU distribution and product freshness against the approved AOP for the MCI brands in markets

    • Gain solid understanding of the local beer market in South Korea, including exclusive and open accounts
    • Analyze territory dynamics and available channel reports to develop local action plans which address performance gaps and identified opportunities
    • Share market intelligence and knowledge with MCI brands manager, the local sales team and MCI team via formal reports and informal communication
    • Help open new strategic accounts for Molson Coors and Miller brands and sell the approved promotional programs of the brands. Intimately familiar with the national and local strategies and programs of MCI brands for South Korea, and knows the best way to execute these in the local market in a 360 way
    • Understands the role of MCI brands in the brand portfolios of partners while ensuring that the local sales team allocates the "mind time" which is representative of our brand investment in the local market

    • Is an expert in the MCI brands target that resides in South Korea, and is responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with Young Adult opinion leaders (promoters, night club owners, radio DJs) with the intention of leveraging these associations to grow the brand in accordance with the established strategies and plans
    • Is perceived as being the MCI brands ambassador in the local community
    • Ensure partners or distributors local sales team properly executes the agreed upon pricing strategy of MCI brands
    • Track and report the competitive dynamic in the market and the promotional activity of relevant domestic and imported brands. Present monthly report to partners
    • Develop a team-oriented professional relationship with the management and all employees of partners and or distributors
    • Ensure all legal regulations, rules and mandatories are met when developing and executing the local plans for MCI brands
    • Helps assess new market opportunities in the region and evaluate potential distributors in those markets




    Skills and Relevant Work Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.At least 5 years in sales, marketing, trade marketing experience in international FMCG
    • National Account or Partner Management experience (>2 years)
    • Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills
    • Proven negotiation skills
    • Commercially astute with strong numerical strengths and understanding of how brands contribute to financial growth
    • Marketing and brands literate (understands drivers of brand health development)
    • Entrepreneurial flair and breakthrough mindset



    • Master's degree in related field, international experience
    • Brand management and/or trade marketing experience
    • Bilingual in English and Korean
