    Sets Quality & Food Safety strategies and Long Range Plans that are aligned with the Molson Coors Global strategy and which are designed to deliver continuous improvement, customer and consumer experience consistent with our ambition of being 'First Choice'.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure Quality & Food Safety practices are consistently applied throughout the MCI network.   This is achieved through a) monitoring and adherence to the Global Quality Management System - sampling plans, analytical methods and specifications b) ensure measure and review of quality performance at all sites, corrective actions grounded in root cause analysis / Quality & Food Safety Audits and c) audit of adherence to agreed brewing, packaging practices at partner, owned sites and suppliers.

     

    • Set LRP and AOP targets and plan aligned with Global Qualtiy & Food Safety Strategies, develop execute in site-appropriate ways to achieve overall, Quality and Continuous Improvement objectives.

     

    • Ensure that Food Safety programs at all sites meet requirements of the Molson Coors Global Food Safety Standard and local regulatory requirements.   Audit and Quality Management will be based on recognized risk assessment practices. This includes HACCP but must also extend to risks related to the delivery of quality or performance promises to the customer or consumer. Responsibilities will also include Technical Governance and ongoing Brand Technical Management.

     

    • Adopt best practices from the Molson Coors global network to drive superior performance in the areas of Product Quality, Food Safety, and Trade Quality, Quality Management Systems excellence.

     

    • Through selection and development, build a team that is capable with respect to technical competence and leadership, that delivers superior Quality Performance, is proactive as default and responsive to the needs of the business, provides creative solutions and is able to move and contribute to other areas of the business.

    Qualifications

    Required:        

    • 5-10 years combined technical and supervisory experience.
    • Exposure to brewery technical governance, packaging, and operations
    • Experience managing others
    • Strong influencing and communication skills.
    • Requires experience in large scale food / beverage manufacturing facilities.
    • Candidate requires superior listening and communication skills and must be culturally sensitive.
    • This position requires extensive travel, including traveling on weekends and for more than 1 week at a time.
    • Responsibility spans multiple time zones internationally and necessitates teleconference on a weekly basis from 06:00 am up to 11:00 pm.
    • Ability to quickly assess manufacturing facility performance from a technical and organizational capability and performance perspective.  Experience in multiple facilities or previous multi-site responsibility would be an asset. 

    Preferred:

     

    • International experience across multiple geographies.
    • 10+ years experience at a manager level.
    • Gradual upward progression within Quality organization, including analytical lab, quality data processing and reporting, quality supervisory and management roles.
    • Hands-on brewery experience
