  • Overview

    The Coors TM brand they will be responsible for delivering best in class marketing tools and  solutions that meet retailer, distributor and field opportunities while also ensuring strategic integrity within total brand/portfolio strategy.  Role will be responsible for seeing initiatives from ideation through execution, leading with a high bias for action and strong sense of collaboration. They will also be responsible for tracking initiatives and sharing learnings and best practices throughout the organization. Role will require a strong understanding of local markets, retailers and distributor business models.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead Brand Toolbox Development for Coors Light and Coors Original (Banquet Export). This role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the brand toolbox that supports annual operating plans across MCI markets.
      • Manage initiatives across the enterprise and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
      • Direct selling & execution of Brand Initiatives and programs to align with local area objectives
      • Develop local programming that is aligned with brand positioning, consumer and channel strategies
      • Partner with field marketing & partners to develop local programming
      • Activate & develop local support plans including national packaging innovations and local promotional packaging opportunities
      • Lead development of merchandising tools & annual brand equity catalog
    • Support role for Coors TM MCI – Provides Brand Director support and on the development of the annual brand operating plan, go-to market communication and activation plans.
      • Support Brand Director with agency communication and project management.
      • Manage and coordinate the development of programs, creative and other elements of the marketing mix
      • Supports sales and distributor meetings (planning, organizing, facilitation)
      • Responsible for marketing budget management
    • Thought Leadership & Key Stakeholder coordination. Ensure brand plans are communicated in a timely  manner to facilitate execution with field marketing, commercial team and local partners
      • Share learning’s and expand best practice principles throughout the region and global brand team
    • Provide clear direction and demonstrate leadership through meeting timelines. Understand brand strategies, link to channel, retailer and distributor strategies and apply them to the development of programs
    • Develop and maintain positive, constructive business building relationships with internal team members, Global Brand team, outside partners, retailers and community leaders

    Qualifications

    Required

    • A relevant 4 year degree with 5 years sales/marketing experience within a blue chip consumer goods company is required
    • Experience managing agencies
    • Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
    • Highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills
    • Ability to manage a broad range of marketing tools including strategic development, and planning, budgeting, business analysis, advertising, promotions, merchandising and research and analysis
    • Strong business acumen
    • Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, Powerpoint
    • Strong decision making skills

    Preferred

    • Major in International Marketing or Trade, MBA.
    • A Master’s degree is preferred
    • Field, Brand or Customer marketing or Agency experience preferred
    • Sound business understanding including: brand, retail/channel, consumer strategies and 3-tier distribution system
    • Bilingual – Spanish & English
