  • Overview

    Senior Finance Analyst supporting the Annual Operating Plan (“AOP”), Business Performance Reviews (“BPR”), Brand & Innovation Reporting, Africa Finance, and Commercial, along with other monthly responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    AOP Responsibilities: The Senior Analyst will consolidate annual operating plan financials from Molson Coors International (“MCI”) regions and support the overall coordination of the process.

    BPR Responsibilities: The Senior Analyst will attend monthly internal regional review meetings and capture notes and follow-ups. The Senior Analyst will coordinate these meetings with the various stakeholders.

    Brand & Innovation Reporting Responsibilities: On a monthly basis, the Senior Analyst will consolidate all MCI regions’ brand detail for management reporting purposes. On a quarterly basis, the Senior Analyst will consolidate all required innovation project financials.

    Africa Finance Responsibilities: The Senior Analyst will support the Finance Manager for Africa in recording actuals and forecasting the financials. The Senior Analyst will also support in preparing financial business cases as they arise. The Senior Analyst will prepare required pre-reads for Africa BPR reviews (quarterly).

    Commercial Responsibilities: The Senior Analyst will support the Finance Manager for Commercial in recording actuals and forecasting the financials. The Senior Analyst will participate in budget discussions to partner with key commercial budget owners, including the Chief Commercial Officer of MCI. The Senior Analyst will also support in preparing financial business cases as they arise.

    Other Ongoing Responsibilities:

    Support in consolidating weekly volume from all MCI markets.

    Complete month-end account reconciliations, prepare journal entries.

    Ensure accuracy of balance sheet and mitigate risk of financial misstatements.

    Ensure compliance with appropriate US GAAP Accounting and SOX controls.

    Ensure accuracy of reporting from system and drive efficiency in the reporting process through the use of systems, tools, and standardization

    Prepare ad-hoc business analysis

     

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting, CPA
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Big 4 accounting firm (experience with Manufacturing clients is preferred).
    • Knowledge of US GAAP, attention to details and a team attitude with a track record of strong collaboration, ability to work independently, high-degree of self-initiative, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel software

    Preferred:

    • Graduate Degree in Accounting
    • Advanced understanding of the financial statements and their creation and classification, including income statements, statements of cash flows, and balance sheets.
    • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Word software.
    • Previous experience working with SAP.
    • Multi-lingual and experience working with international markets is a plus.
