Overview

The Field Sales Manager is an employee of MCI whose main objective is to help our partner accelerate the development of Molson Coors brands in key markets, in accordance with the shared accountability model that guides the business relationship between our partner and MCI.

Oversees the execution of all major retail promotions in the market according to the approved regional brand plan, negotiating with regional sales team, to set volume goals, phasing and promotional support through the year.

Responsibilities

 

1.- To assist field sales force in meeting regional volume targets:

- Negotiates directly with partner Local Sales team, to set volume goals, phasing and promotional support through the year.

2.- Ensure the brand receives an above average return on investment in the marketplace:

- Reports ongoing analysis of retail display effectiveness, shelf/floor location, SKU distribution and product freshness of the brand.

3.- Provides a communication conduit between local partner regional sales force, brand team and MCI Regional Manager:

- Maintains tracking of pricing to ensure pricing strategy established is being properly executed.

- Shares market intelligence & knowledge with local sales team and brand team via formal reports, training & informal communication.     

- With regional sales team, analyses monthly reports evaluating the competitive dynamic in the market.

4.- Oversees the execution of all major retail promotions in the local markets according to the local brand plan approved by partner´s regional sales team:

- Identifies improvement opportunities, sets and follow up deadlines, shares success stories to other markets.

Qualifications

- Negotiation skills.

-Experience managing other regional or local markets.

- Commercial minded with clear understanding of how brands contribute to financial growth.

- Strong project manager.

- Highly developed interpersonal and influencing ability.

- Experience of developing and owning the execution of an annual Brand Plan.

- Spanish speaker with English knowledge.
